Awesome Typewriter Art

Typewriter art is definitely some zany art. These artists use a typewriter to draw their portraits or landscapes. Now these artists definitely have to have patience. To be an artist takes great patience but to confine yourself to a very hard and complex medium will challenge your patience. I wonder how they choose which letters to use, they seem to use almost any variations of symbols and letters. It creates a lovely stipple effect or sometimes look like cross hatching. I can make out the number ā7ā to shade the nose sitting right next to a bunch of āUā to give the curvature of the cheek. For all one knows they may have had to change the symbols because the certain finger would be getting sore, or even worse what happens if the typewriter arm would get stuck? I’m sure we can all remember that, boy I feel old now.

There is also another form of this art it would be text art on your computer screen it is fundamentally the same except in the fact that when using a computer the artist does not have the ability to go over the symbol or overlap it. This presents a different challenge to the computer screen text artist here the symbols become somewhat more important to create dark and light areas.
No matter what it takes to make that art it sure is a unique way to be creative.
